ABOUT.US

project SHINE is the first-ever collaboration of Bay Area designers and artists creating unique work inspired by LIFE, the chance for everyone to SHINE, and the fight to cure blood cancers. As part of the LLS’s annual Man and Woman of the year fundraising campaign, our contributing artists will come together as a community to make a difference. We hope you can join us at one of our events and pledge to make it memorable. We also have set an ambitious goal to raise $50K in 10 weeks. With this, we can fully fund the discovery of a new drug to battle these horrific diseases.

The 2014 campaign runs from March 27 to June 7.  Click on join.us above to see how you can get involved.

We hope project SHINE can raise both money and awareness and help make cancer a thing of the past.  But for this to happen, we must ask for YOUR help.

Blood cancers can be cured.  Over the last 63 years, LLS has invested close to $1 billion in research to find the cause and cure for various forms of blood cancer. We have selected to work with LLS because blood cancer research can be the gateway to curing other cancers - and because they boast an industry-leading percentage of donations that go DIRECTLY to the cause, not to overhead. In addition to funding research, LLS provides patient and family-services to help those affected by these devastating illnesses.

Cancer has touched the lives of everyone in project SHINE and we can not sit back and treat it as someone else's problem.  Cancer is about you and I doing what we can to help.  Cancer is ABOUT.US.
