Over the last 63 years, LLS has invested close to $1 billion in research to find the cause and cure for various forms of blood cancer. We have selected to work with LLS because blood cancer research can be the gateway to curing other cancers - and because they boast an industry-leading percentage of donations that go DIRECTLY to the cause, not to overhead. In addition to funding research, LLS provides patient and family-services to help those affected by these devastating illnesses.
To further describe the human impact, consider the following: approximately every four minutes, someone new is diagnosed with blood cancer and every 10 minutes, someone dies. We can change this.
